2023This diptych is about my loss of self identity due to harsh experiences and relationships that overtook me. It is a visually direct comparison between the dresses I wore 20 years apart. There are 750 pearls individually placed onto the sheet, spelling out a private message in braille that has been made unreadable to all viewers by its flipped orientation. In yellow dots is a message that can be translated and read by the public.
