Using the "Accordion Fold," I describe life with my mom, from childhood to teen years to adulthood. It’s about my mother’s influence and a look into two women growing up together and experiencing the same transfromative events in different ways.

This book relives the details from both our perspectives. On the left is my mother’s side and on the right is mine. The pages are turned from the center and tell two bonded stories. It also unfolds completely from its cover, where each stack of pages becomes seperated. However, can be put back together; a symbol of our relationship and how despite our differences, we return to the same home.
